Steve Melink is the Forbes Books author of Fusion Capitalism: A Clean Energy Vision For Conservatives, and founder/CEO of Melink Corporation, a Cincinnati, Ohio-based company considered a pioneer in renewable energy solutions for the commercial building industry. He also is a national speaker on sustainability, clean energy and zero-energy buildings, and has consulted with federal and state legislators.
So often renewable energy is politicized: if you’re on the left, you must support green energy, if you’re on the right, you must support fossil fuels. But Steve shows us that renewable energy has nothing to do with politics: it’s the energy of the future. It’s cleaner, healthier for us, and most importantly (from an economic standpoint), it’s cheaper! We need more conservatives like Steve who are willing to drop the politics and recognize a better path forward exists, and it isn’t with fossil fuels.
