On my walk with Manoa today, I suddenly came to a break in the trees that gave me a view of all of Osaka, as well as a new perspective on human society. Also….I made it thought 10 episodes! I’m excited for me. Thanks so much to everyone who has come along for the journey. I appreciate all of you!
Today we’re talking about Joshua Spodek, PhD, MBA, host of This Sustainable Life podcast, award winning author of Leadership: Step by Step, and most environmentally-friendly person I know. He was my inspiration for starting Verdant Growth and is now teaching me to lead others on environment. Today let’s talk about some of the good environmental news we had in 2020 as well as how I feel 2020 went for Verdant Growth. Last, I’ll tell you what I’m thinking for the future of Verdant Growth. I’m excited for 2021 and looking hopefully […]

When I was making the video about bamboo, I just decided to stomp around the bamboo forests for a while and took some random video to use in the main video. In case anyone wanted to see me, my family, and my dog exploring the bamboo, I thought I’d upload it. Enjoy!
In a previous post, I talked about how getting a dog brought unexpected positive things to my life, despite thinking it was going to be mostly a nuisance to my busy life. One of those things is that I ended up getting out of the house and exploring the neighborhood a lot more. It meant exploring the hills and forest […]
For some of us, we consider ourselves to be ‘eco-warriors’, fighting for the good of the planet; standing up for nature and an earth that can’t defend itself. But most of us don’t consider the planet when we make our everyday decisions. And that’s fine! For the vast majority of people, we’re interesting in living a life that is happy, […]
